Method
- Scoop the chilled pudding into the individual cups, filling each about three-quarters full to leave room for decorations.
- Sprinkle a generous layer of crushed cookies over the pudding to resemble dark, earthy dirt. Gently press them down so they stay in place and create a textured surface.
- Place a gummy worm partially into the dirt layer, so it appears to be wriggling out of the ground, with a little part sticking up and the rest embedded in the crushed cookie layer.
- Use a small cookie cutter or a knife to cut tombstone shapes out of the chocolate cookies. Place each tombstone upright into the pudding, pressing softly to secure.
- Optionally, crumble a few extra crushed cookies around the tombstones for added dirt effect or a more uneven landscape.
- Repeat the process with the remaining pudding cups, creating varying sizes of dirt mounds, adding worms, and tombstones for a spooky graveyard scene.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to an hour to let the decorations set slightly. These pudding cups are best enjoyed fresh but also hold well for a bit of time.
Notes
For extra spooky effect, add tiny candy gravestones or print small paper flags with spooky messages.
