Method
 

  1. Prepare your glass by pouring some sugar or cinnamon sugar onto a rimming plate or shallow dish. Use a small spatula to spread it evenly. Set aside.
  2. Fill your cocktail shaker halfway with ice, then pour in the vanilla vodka, heavy cream, and simple syrup. Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg if using.
  3. Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is icy cold and well-combined. You’ll hear a gentle rattling sound as the ingredients blend.
  4. Place a fine mesh strainer over your prepared glass and pour the shaken mixture through it to catch any ice shards or foam, resulting in a smooth, creamy drink.
  5. Garnish the rim of your glass with the mini sugar cookie or sprinkle a little cinnamon sugar on top for extra flavor and visual appeal.
